Primarily written by Adrienne, a homeschooling mother of seven, ages 10 and under. She chronicles life, laughs, struggles, and lessons learned as she raises a larger-than-most sized family and tries to figure out what she's doing day by day.

With occasional posts, Alexandra, Adrienne's older sister, writes of her ranch life in Nevada and raising four sons, ages 5 and under. Life is never dull and her boys have given her some pretty awesome stories to tell.

Stick around awhile, and you're sure to laugh, nod, smile, be encouraged, and see what life is like with a big (little) family.

this is me

I am the wife of a godly man, saved by grace through faith and mom to six kids age 10 and under and look forward to another in the spring. My days are full, my children are blessings and my blog is a way to chronicle the chaos we call life around here.

I...
am 29 years old,
home school my children,
cook from scratch,
sew many (typically girly) things,
utilize my clothesline (about 15 times a week),
love jewelry,
read a lot,
love to write,
make soap,
love all things baby,
could do without being pregnant (but it's worth the babies),
hate dusting,
love a clean house (but hate taking the time to clean it),
rarely get a moment alone,
live in my Birkenstocks,
spend most of my day cleaning up the same messes over and over,
...and I love it.

I'm living my dream.

Nice to "meet" you! You are amazing! Seven under 10! I dream of having a clothes line someday. I love babies too, pregnancy...not so much! I think it gets harder each time because there are more people to take care of with each one!

I agree! Naps are easier to take now, with a few old enough to keep an eye on the younger ones for me for a bit. The energy required, though, and homeschooling, makes for a harder time getting rest!
