Primarily written by Adrienne, a homeschooling mother of seven, ages 10 and under. She chronicles life, laughs, struggles, and lessons learned as she raises a larger-than-most sized family and tries to figure out what she's doing day by day.

With occasional posts, Alexandra, Adrienne's older sister, writes of her ranch life in Nevada and raising four sons, ages 5 and under. Life is never dull and her boys have given her some pretty awesome stories to tell.

Stick around awhile, and you're sure to laugh, nod, smile, be encouraged, and see what life is like with a big (little) family.

These things I've learned today...

Today I've learned...

That unbreakable Corningware will break on ceramic tile. And, when these unbreakable plates break with mashed potatoes on them, it makes a massive mess.

That dried granola on ceramic tile is hard to get off. That husbands do a great job of cleaning it up!

I've learned that a spoonful of sour meds followed by a squirt of chocolate syrup makes for much-liked meds from one sugar-loving two year old!

I've found that while Sterling dislikes all things but breast milk, he likes the affects of ibuprofen. A lot. I like Sterling on ibuprofen.

I've discovered that a serpentine belt makes a lot of racket when it shreds, but at least now I also know what that knocking noise was - and it wasn't in the motor.

I've learned the feel of embarrassment when meeting a new doctor while I was nursing - and my two daughters were "nursing" their babies beside me. His comment? "Looks like a party going on in here!"
